How Can severe High Blood Pressure Be Treated?

I have high blood pressure (in the 150 s with occasional higher spikes. I cannot tolerate ARB, Calcium channe blockers, ACE inhibitors. or beta blockers and just recently had a bad reaction to HCTZ. The doctor now wants me to recover a bit and try Tecturna. With my track record I am willing to try it but not optimistic that I can tolerate it. My mother s whole family was hypersensitive like this. Are there any hypertensives that do not have horrible side effects. Part of the problem may be related to a leaky mitral valve. I am getting very frustrated. Any suggestions?
